It’s been a hard week at the farm. Long hours and not much good results. Now I have a dilemma with my ox in the ditch:
If I work this Sunday to get the ox out of the ditch, does that increase the likelihood the devil will lead him back to the ditch next Sunday? Should I pull the ox out of the ditch and pray that God will keep him out? Or should I just leave him there ’till Monday and try to rest with his fate in God’s hands?
Sometimes I wish I could just shoot the ox and give up farming all together. 😉

Well, the ox is slowly working his way out, but it sure has taken a lot of pulling and shoving. I guess any profession has it’s frustrations and difficulties. This particular “ox incident” has proved especially difficult but I suppose all this pushing and pulling to get him out of the ditch has got to be building some muscles. Maybe I won’t shoot the ox and quit farming after all.
I know jesus would pull him out the ditch but not sure how many times He would keep pulling him out. 70×7 perhaps??? Life is often a challenge but it is victorious too!!
