Her\u00a0surgery went well.\u00a0 The tumor was benign.\u00a0 We had prayed for that.\u00a0\u00a0 We had hoped for that.\u00a0 We even dared to expect that.\u00a0 But we knew it could have\u00a0been otherwise,\u00a0so we thank God for an answer to prayer and the result we had been hoping for.\u00a0 I don’t always get what I want.\u00a0 I don’t always get what I\u00a0ask for.\u00a0 I don’t know why some\u00a0stories have happy endings and others do not.\u00a0 I wish I did.\u00a0 It might save me some worry.\u00a0 As it is, all I can do is continue to talk with God, letting him know my needs and concerns, believing that no matter what happens He is there, He cares, and He rewards those who diligently seek\u00a0Him.<\/p>\n
But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
