Thanksgiving at Mom & Dad’s house always has great food and exciting (usually loud)\u00a0conversation.\u00a0 This Thanksgiving we got into an interesting conversation about creation and time.<\/p>\n
The earth is millions of years old?
\nThe earth is a few thousand years old?
\nGenesis is literal?
\nGenesis is allegorical?
\nSeven days or seven eons?
\nHow long did it take to carve the Grand Canyon?
\nWhere on the timeline do we find dinosaurs?
\nDo you see that light from the Andromeda Galaxy 2.5 million light years\u00a0away?<\/p>\n
I don’t know the answers.\u00a0 But,\u00a0maybe God\u00a0is not the\u00a0“I Was” or the “I Will Be.”\u00a0 It is possible God is the ever present “I AM” because\u00a0He is\u00a0not limited by time.\u00a0 Perhaps God did not just create the events ON\u00a0a great\u00a0timeline.\u00a0\u00a0 Maybe, He created the line itself.\u00a0 Kinda brings new meaning to the phrase “God’s timing” doesn’t it?<\/p>\n
