The sign simply said “Exit 192\u00a0\u00a0 Attraction”.\u00a0 You’ve seen them before, those blue informational signs along the interstate.\u00a0 They usually say “Food” or “Gas” and then list the restaurants or gas stations at the exit.\u00a0 This sign just said “Attraction” and did not list what the attraction was.<\/p>\n
As I passed, I wondered what I should be attracted to.\u00a0 What was there that would draw me in?\u00a0 Was it something I should investigate?\u00a0 Or would it be a waste of time? Would I be able to leave it behind?\u00a0 Would I leave with a good souvenir?\u00a0 Or a feeling of being ripped off?\u00a0 Was it worth the stop?<\/p>\n
There were many “Attraction” signs along my journey the other day.\u00a0 Some announced what they were, some did not.\u00a0 Some looked interesting but\u00a0only Heaven knows if they would be worth a stop.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0One thing every traveler should know:\u00a0 If you want to reach your destination, you can’t stop for all the attractions.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
