The movie we watched last night was not that bad.\u00a0\u00a0 The trailer looked funny and cute, so we thought we would watch it.\u00a0 \u00a0 There were a few four letter words, and I think I heard God’s name used in vain a few times.\u00a0\u00a0 But it wasn’t\u00a0that bad; nothing you wouldn’t hear in the street any day of the week.\u00a0 I guess there was an adulterous\u00a0bedroom scene, but it didn’t show anything you couldn’t see on the beach, so maybe it was not that bad.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Of course there was some lying and deception, but what can you watch these days that doesn’t have some of that.\u00a0 I’ve seen worse.\u00a0 Perhaps this was not that bad.\u00a0 In the end, most everybody got what they really wanted despite it all,\u00a0and went on with their life.\u00a0 A typical Hollywood ending.\u00a0\u00a0 Really not that bad.<\/p>\n
When did I start measuring things by “how bad they are not” instead of “how good they are?”\u00a0 I don’t mean to sound like a prude.\u00a0 Really, it’s quite the opposite.\u00a0 I’m reluctantly admitting I sometimes watch things on TV that I shouldn’t.\u00a0 It just kinda draws me in to its not-that-bad standard.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
I wonder, if Jesus came now instead of over 2000 years ago, would he even own a TV?\u00a0 Would he find\u00a0much of anything worth watching?\u00a0 Anything that would meet his standard? \u00a0I doubt it.\u00a0 It’s not that good.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
