{"id":1773,"date":"2012-11-13T22:36:36","date_gmt":"2012-11-14T03:36:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/markspruill.com\/blog\/?p=1773"},"modified":"2012-11-13T23:16:02","modified_gmt":"2012-11-14T04:16:02","slug":"a-bit-about-drills","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/markspruill.com\/blog\/?p=1773","title":{"rendered":"A Bit About Drills"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I was working on a mount for my telescope tonight.\u00a0 There was measuring, cutting, sanding, and drilling involved.\u00a0 I don&#8217;t have an excessive amount of tools,\u00a0 but I do have most of what I need, and when it comes to drills, I have more than what I need.<\/p>\n<p>I have two drills; an old one, and a new one.\u00a0 The new one works the best.\u00a0 It has a strong, new motor. It&#8217;s easier to use because it\u00a0doesn&#8217;t require a chuck.\u00a0 It has a nice case where I keep it all safe and protected, the cord neatly coiled.\u00a0 The old one is thrown under the workbench with the cord haphazardly wrapped around it.\u00a0 Tonight I used the old one.<\/p>\n<p>I almost always use the old one, because it&#8217;s handy. The new one is better, but it&#8217;s usually not worth the trouble to unpack it and repack it in that nice protective case.
